A Cold New Year

As I write this I see that the temperature here in Great Falls is -11 and according to The Weather Channel online it feels like -28. Winds out of the SW at 8mph. On my way to work this morning I started both my trucks and let them warm up. After I got to I remembered that I left my camera in my truck and I'm hoping that the lens didn't freeze and crack. I can say that walking to work this morning was refreshing. Michele drove to Helena last night and said that the roads were terrible and that I should be careful today when I drive down there after work. I talked to the friends I'll stay with down there and they said the roads around there place haven't been plowed yet but should be by the time I get there. My friends got me a new circular saw for Christmas that I am dying to use and if the temperature warms up I might build a few shelves for Michele's house. If the weather doesn't warm up I guess I'll relax and enjoy my day off and think about what I'm going to do this year.

The Situation in Texas: I can't believe all the people who disobeyed the manditory evacuation in Texas before Ike. If you didn't listen to the Mayor's evacuation order and choose to stay there then you chose to take your own like in your hands and have no one to blame but yourself. You made your bed and don't want to sleep in it now. You should be left on your own. I think the FEMA and the National Guard should worry about the people who DID leave and the utilillies first. If you disobey a manditory order you are sayiing "To Hell With That" and you choose to stay on your own, then you should help your self. If you choose to stay in your house when there is a Huricane barreling down on you, then I have no sympathy for you. and you would not be a priority for me. People who obey the laws and who need help would be first on my list. IF you don't follow the laws, you are relying only on your self. I don't think the State of Texas should be resueing cry

Well we had a good time at the Christmas Stroll. Above is a picture of the tree at the Civic Center taken with my iphone because my batteries were dead in my digital. Now I'm just stilling at work waiting for the day to be done so I can get to Helena and help my friends.

Catching up

                                                                                                                                              Jan 12, 2015 Here I go again....      Monday was a relaxing boring day in the life. Got up, showered, fed the dogs got dressed, played with Sasha before heading to work.       Work was productive and got some inventory on the shelves. Shipped a few orders. Kinda of a boring day.       Got home, played with Sasha and noticed that Brooke had something seeping from her ear. At first we thought it was blood and that Sasha might had been playing a little too rough with the old dog. we washed Brooke's ear and think an infection in her ear is draining. We decided to check it in the morning  and go from there.        We relaxed after that and watched Mysteries at the Museum that we recorded on the DVR before heading to bed.
