Catching up

Here I go again....

Monday was a relaxing boring day in the life. Got up, showered, fed the dogs got dressed, played with Sasha before heading to work.
Work was productive and got some inventory on the shelves. Shipped a few orders. Kinda of a boring day.
Got home, played with Sasha and noticed that Brooke had something seeping from her ear. At first we thought it was blood and that Sasha might had been playing a little too rough with the old dog. we washed Brooke's ear and think an infection in her ear is draining. We decided to check it in the morning  and go from there.
We relaxed after that and watched Mysteries at the Museum that we recorded on the DVR before heading to bed.

                                                                       FOGGY!
We woke up to some very thick fog. So thick that we couldn't see our closest neighbor.

This morning we checked Brooke's ear and it looked okay. We washed the area again and decided to give it another day and watch it.
Also, we are in the discussion mode of putting Brooke down. She's 15 and having all kinds of issues. She can barely walk at times, with tramadol daily and a month shot. She has become incontinent and we have blankets strewn all over the floor and have to wash them daily. She has a very hard time getting up the stairs and usually falls/slides down them. I'm just having a hard time with it. I feel like I'm giving up on her and don't want that, but also want want her to suffer. Most people, including the Vet are surprised that she's still around. I just don't know what to do.
Michele and I carpooled today in my truck as we need some supplies from town. we got our supplies and breakfast at Burger King before heading to work.
Work was busy and fast. Working on stock levels, time seemed to fly. Got an order shipped and and getting another one ready to ship. the work day ended well.
Got home and found that Sasha had pulled some of the blankets out into the yard and chewed holes in them. BAD GIRL! After cleaning up that mess and Brookes  "Mess" in the house, we put a Pappa Murphy's pizza in the oven and relax.
With some pizza and Mountain Dew I sat down and started to update this while also watching "The Librarians that we DVR'd
      Goodnight

Glad to see you are blogging! May I make a suggestion about Brooke? I read once where a veterinarian had suggested to some dog owners to make a list of everything their dog loves to do. Then as the dog cannot do them anymore, cross them off the list. Once the list is all crossed off, it would be time to let the dog cross to the Rainbow Bridge. Not an easy decision, but at least with the list idea, you know Brooke's quality of life has diminished enough to let her go. Just a suggestion on a way to make a hard decision a little easier. Peace.
