Busy Saturday!

                                                                                                                                              Jan 17, 2015

Michele and I got up early and headed to Montana City to pick up 2 bountiful Baskets. one for us and one for her daughter Krystle. We decided we needed to do a little shopping and headed to Wal-Mart. We bypassed Wal-Mart to head to Shellie's Country Cafe to get some good breakfast. Michele had the Breakfast Burrito with bacon and I got the Country fried steak. Both were good and filled us up. Off to Wal-Mart we went.
On our way home from Wal-Mart I called our friend Tim, who I was going to help remove and axle we had purchased for out friend Albert. A few months ago Albert was heading in to Helena from his cabin above Marrysville, MT and the rear end went out of his 1989 Chevy 4X4. Tim found a newer 3/4 ton axle for a better price that we could fix the old so Tim, Michele and I all went in on the axle and will split the repair cost. When I went to pick Tim up he had his son Bart there and he joined us, making the removal even faster.
We got to the truck we were removing the axle from and Tim and Bart removed the rims and tires and began working on removing the rear break lines and emergency brake.  I crawled under the axle, removing the shocks and  four shackles, this lowering the rear end. We also grabbed the extra leaf springs for the 3/4ton to add to Albert's truck when we install the axle. All in all it took as about an hour and a half from N leaving Tim's house, removing the axle, loading in the back of my truck and returning to Tim's.  Not bad.
Returning home to a excited Sasha, wanting to play so we did. Came in the house. shedding my dirty Carhartt coat and bibs and relaxed a little. Michele was making Baked Hony Sriracha Chicken and letting it marinate while doing a little cleaning.
After a very good dinner we decided to head to Tim's house to pay a board game called "Reneck Life"  it turned into a 2-1/2 hour game with me winning. We sat around and chatted a bit before heading home.
Got home, loved on the dogs and headed to bed.  Goodnight.
